Curbside Collection for Garbage and Recycling in 2024

At the Special Session of Council on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, Council approved a Special Tax Levy for the curbside collection of garbage and recycling, which will provide residential property owners with 50 bag tags at $4 per tag. The bag tag allotment for 2024 will be mailed out with tax bills between January 26th and February 1st, 2024, and a charge of $200 will be added to your interim tax bill. Instances in which taxes are paid through a financial agency or monthly pre-authorized payment plan will receive a separate mailing of bag tags in early February 2024.

If you need to purchase additional bag tags prior to receiving your allotted amount for 2024, please do so by visiting one of the following locations:

  • Wallace's Drug Store, 27 Dundas Street East, Napanee
  • Stop N Shop, 266 Centre Street North, Napanee
  • Roblin Gas Bar, 3243 County Road 41, Roblin
  • Richmond Grocery, 311 Bridge Street West, Napanee
  • Camden Variety, 425 Camden Road, Napanee
  • Munroe's General Store, 8300 County Road 2, Napanee
  • Becker's, 103 Dundas St E, Napanee
  • Circle K, 138 Centre St N, Napanee
  • County of Lennox & Addington Library - Napanee Branch, 25 River Road, Napanee
  • Schell's Market, 408 Main Street, Bath
  • Esso Gas Station, 359 Centre Street N, Napanee


All household garbage set out for curbside collection must have a visible and firmly affixed Town of Greater Napanee bag tag attached around the neck of the bag. One full tag per bag.
