The Project Working Limits are focused on East Street, commencing from Dundas Street northerly to the terminus of roadway, for a total project length of approximately 630m.

The main objectives of the project are to address aging infrastructure and pavement deficiencies, including such items as the following;

  • Correct pavement distresses and extending the service life of the asphalt surface.
  • Improve asphalt surface ride quality.
  • Eliminate poor roadway drainage and water ponding within the travelled surface.
  • Replacement of buried storm sewers due to age and condition.
  • Replacement of watermain and residential services due to age and condition to restore flows and pressures.
  • Replacement of sanitary sewers due to age and condition reducing maintenance needs and restoration of capacity.
  • Upgrades to the roadway cross-section including new concrete curb and gutters and concrete sidewalk.

The current project timeline will have construction occur within 2023 (May to October) pending Town of Greater Napanee Council approval.
